She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Riley and Golden Riley. She is survived by: her husband George Yeager; her children, Travis Yeager (Mary) and Robin Nicholson; and her grandchildren, Joseph Yeager, Rita Naegele (Robert), Cecilia Yeager, Theresa Yeager, Veronica Yeager and Samantha Nicholson. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown (9318 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40299). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Brigid Catholic Church (1520 Hepburn Ave, Louisville, KY 40204).
Ruth was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and then St. Brigid Catholic Church, where her faithful presence and volunteer work set an example of charity and devotion for many.
