He was predeceased by: his son Ellis Ray Kendrick; and his sisters, Marie Martin, Mary Jo Martin, Phyllis Stone and Nancy Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Simpson (Ewell) of Mt. Sterling and Ricky Kendrick (Lisa) of Jeffersonville; and his brothers, Alton Kendrick, Jr. of Jeffersonville, Michael Kendrick of Jeffersonville and Darrell Kendrick of Mt. Sterling. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
