He was predeceased by : his parents, Arlie Kenneth and Lucy Spencer. He is survived by : his wife Rosa Howard Spencer of Jeffersonville, KY; his children, Brian Ward (Lisa) of Clark County, KY, Gregory Ward of Salyersville, KY and Renee Watkins of Salyersville, KY; his brother Terry Wayne Spencer of Lexington, KY; and his grandchildren, Jordon Brewer, Hannah Brewer, Josh Ward, Ella Ward, Abbey Ward and Caroline Ward.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Taul Funeral Home (109 E Main St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at the Lovely Amburgey Cemetery.
