With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Purnell of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 57. He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Purnell. He is survived by: his wife Tara Purnell; his daughters, Tiffany Dawn and Emily Grace; his grandchildren, Derrika Faith and Lillian Grace; his siblings, Nancy Tumey, Sandy Evans and Scott Purnell; his in-laws, Kenneth and Gerri Barrett; and his siblings-in-law, Tracy, Katie and Kenneth.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Daysprings Church (1517 Main St, Frenchburg, KY 40322).
