She is survived by: her close friend Rudy Tackett of Melvin, Kentucky.; her daughter Rachel Thacker of Auxier, Kentucky; her siblings, Daniel Newsome of Lexington, Kentucky, Deloris Holland of Memphis, Janice Walters of Lepont and Judy Newsome of Colorado Spring, Colorado; and her pet Lucy.
