Lena leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lena’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Lena will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Cole and Henrietta Parton Cole; and her siblings, Doug Cole and Mary Sue Cole. She is survived by: her son William David Elsmore of Jenkins; her brother Wayne Cole of Jenkins; and her close friend Lonzo Miller of Jenkins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel (22 Elkhorn Ave, Jenkins, KY 41537). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
