She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper N. Woosley and Amelia Nash Woosley; and her husband Sam Childers. She is survived by: her siblings, James Woosley (Wilma) and Anna Dee Woosley Phelps (Carlos); her siblings' children, Jerry Phelps and Garrett Woosley; her sons, Sam Gregory Childers of Louisville, KY and Tema D. Childers (Linda) of Jetson, KY.; her grandchild Karinna Snelling (Shane) of Mammoth Cave, KY; her great grandchildren, Kyla Mclellan (Nash) of Etowah, TN, Harley Mestas of Franklin, NC, Savannah Mestas of Andrews, NC, Olivia Mestas of Franklin, NC and Khloe Snelling of Mammoth Cave, KY.; her great great grandchildren, Landon, Caleb and Addie of Etowah, TN.; her siblings' children, Peggy Lewis (Garland) of Shelbyville, KY and Mike Phelps (Cindy) of Mt. Washington, KY; and also Charlotte of Louisville, KY.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Green Valley Church of Christ (8141 Brownsville Rd, Morgantown, KY 42261).
