We announce the death of Albert McQueary (Junction City, Kentucky), who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 78. Albert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey C. McQueary, Sr. and Wallace Irene Luster McQueary; his wife June Marie McQueary; his son Barry Dale McQueary; and his siblings, Hubert McQueary, William Edward McQueary, George McQueary, Opal McQueary, Deva Bottom, Audrey Foulk, Diane Heinly, Pauline Tyler and Effie Hamner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Ann Schlenker of LaGrange and Clayton McQueary (Liz) of Campbellsville; his children, Bartley McQueary, Alan Johnson, Terri Kent (Jack) and Traci Wilson (Tony); and his grandchildren, Ashley Wilson, Ryan Wilson (Tiffany), Jenna DeRousse and Cole DeRousse. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home (506 Shelby St, Junction City, KY 40440). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
