It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Carrier of Junction City, Kentucky, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Otis Albert Carrier and Marie Gerkey Martin; his wife Wanda Maddox Carrier; and his sister Margarett Tillett. He is survived by : his children, Cindy Lee Pennington (Donnie) of Junction City, Anthony Scott Carrier (Teresa) of Stanford, KY, Lisa Ann Rutter (Danny) of Newark, OH and Brittan Naylor (Nick) of Junction City, KY; his sister Janice Smith; and his children, Scott and Velma Johnson of Danville, KY. He is also survived by two brother-in-laws; one sister-in-laws; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spurlin Funeral Home (411 W Main St, Stanford, KY 40484). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
