It is with sadness that the passing of Sharon Young of Junction City, Kentucky is shared. Sharon, born on August 30, 1942, passed away on July 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Calvert and Marjorie Calvert; and her brother Joseph William Calvert. She is survived by: her husband Floyd Thomas "Tom" Young; her daughters, Lynn Harmon (Mike) and Carol Young; her grandchildren, Monica Morris (Mahmoud), Corwin Vanhook (Jess), Cameron Vanhook and Elizabeth Harmon; her great grandchildren, Aiden Al-Saloum, Hamoody Al-Saloum, Nolan Vanhook and Finn Vanhook; her sister Elizabeth Sue Dickinson; her nephews, Joseph Calvert and Jonathan Calvert; and her niece Krista Jo Taylor (Jeff).
Donations are suggested to Samaritan's Purse or McDowell Place of Danville in Sharon's honor. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Sharon Young 's name.
