He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Jody and Edna Williams Jody; and his siblings, Sam Jody, Sandra Helton, Rebecca Sue Jody and Vicki Jody.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Nelson Jody; and his brothers, Charles, John, Dan, Byron and Chris Jody. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel (1011 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Shiner Church of Christ Food Pantry P.O. Box 459 Williamsburg, KY 40769.
