It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orie Baker (Keavy, Kentucky), who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Reuben Baker and Ollie Baker; his wife Ida Adams Baker; his sons, Glen Baker and Richard Baker; and his brothers, Finley Baker, Forrester Baker, Henry Baker and Rufus Baker.
He is survived by : his children, Thelma Jones of Keavy, Jerry Baker of Keavy, Terry Baker of Keavy, Ollie Coots of Hazard and Joyce Hensley of Harlan, Kentucky; and his siblings, Polly Jane Williams of Corbin, Henderson Baker, Burchell Baker of London, Farmer Baker of Indiana and Felix Baker of Keavy. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
