He is survived by: his wife Linda Mitchell Grimes; his children, Leonard Keith Grimes (Melissa) of Brooksville, KY, Rhonda Kaye Carpenter (Dan) of Maysville, KY and Troy Kevin Grimes (Lane) of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Alexis Grimes (Brian), Lucas Gross and Dylan Carpenter; his great grandchildren, Haydon Warner, Cole Fryman and Adeline Gulley; and his sister Martha Hinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
