He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Susan Fabian of Atlanta, GA and David Dowdy of Brookport, IL; his daughter-in-law Beth Dowdy; his caregiver Margaret Ferguson; his grandsons, Chad Dowdy of Kevil, KY and Justin Morris (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Penelope Morris, Margot Morris, Cooper Morris and Julian Morris; his wife Rosemary Wallen Dowdy; his parents, Charles Dowdy and Kathlene "Kay" Vinson Dowdy; his son Bruce Dowdy; and his sisters, Janet and Doris.
