He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dalton Lamkin and Mildred Barnhill Lamkin; and his siblings, Judy Butler and Tony Lamkin. He is survived by: his wife Donna Lamkin; his sons, Jeremy Dean Lamkin (Joyce) of Hickory and Tobias "Toby" Zardo Lamkin (Jessica) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his stepsons, Steven Dean Peyton (Jennifer) of Bishopville and Jason Edward Kelley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; his sister Louann McLemore of Selmer, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Audrey Lamkin, Allye Lamkin, Abbie Lamkin, Dustin Clancy, Benton Lamkin, Celia Lamkin, Cooper Roser and Eli Roser.
