She was predeceased by : her parents, Cornelius Smith and Virgie Madie Dixon Smith; and her siblings, Gloria Gibbons and BJ Smith. She is survived by : her husband John Wallace Tapp; her daughters, Margaret Siress (Jeff) of Benton and Rebecca Tapp of New York; her grandchildren, Maidie Siress and Kiefer Siress; her sister Myrna Dusak of Lexington, Kentucky; her sister-in-law Sandra Rowley of Morganfield, Kentucky; her pet Harper; and also Vicki Rudolph of Kevil. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
