He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lee Hammonds Jr. and Helga Hammonds; and his brothers, Charles Hammonds and Billy Hammonds (Diane). He is survived by: his siblings, Margarete Dawson of Kevil, Susan Hines of Kevil and Fred Hammonds of Columbia, SC; his nieces and nephews, Eric, Fred Jr., Sabrina, Angela and Nicole; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Hammonds.
