He is survived by: his children, Pam Smallwood (Bill) of Berea, Dale Gooch (Yvonne) of Danville, Brian Gooch (Marlene Million) of Kings Mountain and Karen Saylor (Mark) of Kings Mountain; his granddaughters, Katie Smallwood McLain (Raymond), Elizabeth Ann Gooch (Josh Vineyard), Tess Smallwood (Taylor Lansdale), Sarah Sims (Jesse Horseman), Gretta Leigh Gooch (Ryan Jorgenson), Hayley Smallwood (Cody Kiser), Jessica Saylor (Nathan Love), Samantha Love (Justin) and Morgan Malone (Brandon); and his siblings, Linda Brown (late Ranzy), Maxine Abbott, Jackie Gooch Mason (Noah), Diane "Cookie" Gooch Stull (late Denny), Marion and Louise. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
