He is survived by: his wife Wilma Ruth Blankenship Gilbert of Glasgow; his children, Susan Simmons (Randy) of Glasgow and Brian Lee Gilbert; his extended family, Melinda Poynter, Melissa Proffitt and Paula Huffman of Glasgow; his grandchildren, Brooke Smith (Garrett) of Glasgow, Brie Gossett (Josey) of Glasgow, August of Glasgow, Gilbert of Glasgow and Ember Lee Gilbert of Glasgow; and his great grandchildren, Laurel, Livie and Lilly Sterling.
