With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jess Maggard of Krypton, Kentucky, who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Maggard and Lydia Campbell Maggard; his wife Clara Eversole Maggard; his grandson Jesse Ray Cole; and his sister-in-law Mable Maggard.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Cole (Ricky) of Krypton, KY and Jess Maggard Jr. (Donna) of Jefferson City, TN; his siblings, Judy Howard (Darwin) of Chavies, KY and Joe Maggard (Geneva Young) of Chavies, KY; his grandchildren, Eric Cole (Brittanie), Joshua Maggard, Hannah Maggard and Kenzie Cole; his great grandchildren, Madison, Clarissa, Jesse Ray, Gavin, Rhylan, Masen and Olivia; his sister-in-law Patsy; and his close friends, Pearl Colwell, Leslie Merrial and Charlie Mullins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Krypton Brethren Church (146 Brook Dr, Krypton, KY 41754). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
