He is survived by: his wife Kay Sidwell Barnes of Kuttawa; his children, Jason Barnes (Susan) of Pittsfield, IL and Heather Shafer (Stephen) of Kuttawa; his siblings, Brad Barnes of Kuttawa and Barb Guthrie of Quincy, IL; his grandchildren, Kaylee Dice (Jeremiah), Olivie Shafer, Phillip Barnes, Hanna Puckett (Darryl), Emily Barnes, Bella Shafer, Bubba Shafer, Ethan Barnes, Jacob Shafer, Levi Barnes, Bekah Shafer, Everett Shafer, Joel Barnes, Cora Shafer and Matilda Shafer; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Dice, Makenna Dice, James Dice and Abram Puckett.
