She was predeceased by: her parents, William Orville "Doc" and Elva Graham Brightman; her son Dr. William Scott Chapman; her daughter-in-law MaryAnne Chapman (Kotheimer); and her siblings, Ben William Brightman, Orville Brightman Jr., Evadean Brightman and Anna Sue Brightman Rich.
She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn White (John) of Eddyville, KY; her grandchildren, Rachel Ball (Josh) of Hebron, KY, Michael Chapman of Tahoe City, CA, Graham White of Clarksville, TN, Taylor Chapman and Clay Chapman of Louisville, KY; her daughter-in-law Roni Chapman of Henderson, KY; and her sister Linda Edmonson (Larry) of Eddyville, KY.
