She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert L. Burch and Cora L. Ward Burch; her son Jerry Newton; her grandson Tony Newton; her husbands, Robert D. Newton (Bus) and Wilbur Welch; her sister Ruth Miller; and her stepsons, Bill Welch Jr. and Larry Welch.

She is survived by : her great grandchild Cody J. Newton of Kevil; her siblings, Sam Burch (Joy) of Coon Rapids, Bob Burch (Donna) of Rush City, Minnesota and Faith Ann Feltl (Bill) of Finlayson, Minnesota; her stepson Wilson Welch (Cathy) of Paducah, KY; her stepgranddaughters, Leigh Jones and Amy Farmer; and her stepgreat-granddaughters, Grace Travis and Elly Travis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
