It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Abernathy of La Center, Kentucky, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Brand and Viola Brand; her husband Floyd Abernathy; her children, Rick Abernathy and Patsy Egner; and her siblings, George Brand, Ronald Brand, Larry Brand, Edna Hargate, Betty Abernathy and Peggy Brand.
She is survived by : her daughter Brenda Wallace (Charles) of LaCenter; her sister Diane Keeling of Florida; and her grandchildren, Tracey Citarella of La Center, Gary Fondaw (Martine) of Georgia and Kim Novosel (Roy) of Washington. She is also survived by her ten great grandchildren.
