He was predeceased by: his father Gary Searcy; and his granddaughter Chelsea Hatfield. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Melton; his children, Kyle Melton (Dalena) and Kayla Melton; his mother Mary Jo Searcy (Ron Sweet); his sister Mary Melton (Charles Clark); and his godchildren, Makayla Abbott and Charlie Abbott. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many sweet nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Eighteen Mile Baptist Church (1615 Overstreet Ln, La Grange, KY 40031).
