She was predeceased by : her mother Nanette Atkinson King; her sister Julie Dawn King; her grandparents, James Oliver and Birdie Margaret King; and her aunts, Nancy Lynn King and Hilda King Hamilton.

She is survived by : her husband Michael Edward Perkins; her daughter Sydney Michel Perkins; her father James R. King; and her brother Richard Lee King. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial contributions may go to the Kentucky Humane Society and American Heart Foundation.
