She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivomerriel "Pop" and Hallie; and her brothers, Mel Sheffield and Charlie Sheffield. She is survived by: her husband Bill Satterley; her daughter Gail Swinney (Jay Steffan); her grandchildren, Chandra Meredith (David), Mary Elizabeth Swinney and Alisa Swinney (Chris Lindsey); her great grandchildren, April, Courtney, Kennedie, Hailey, Abby, Zoe and Sabrina; and her great great grandchildren, Lexi, Kameran, Lincoln, Skylar, Aliyah and Shirley Coffey.

Memorial donations can be made in Helen's name to American Cancer Society.
