James Richard White Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Richard White (La Grange, Kentucky), who passed away on August 22, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lester and Dorothy Terry White (Cranior); and his wife Patricia "Pat" Carter White. He is survived by: his children, Richard White, Barbara "Barbie" Wade (John), Martin White, David R Owens (Teresa) and Shelley Owens; his grandchildren, David "Riley" Owens II (Crystal), Joanie White, Rachael Owens (Melissa), Caitlin Nash and Samuel "Rhys" Owens; and his sister Nancy Skillman. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM and at 7:30 PM at the Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home (706 W Jefferson St, La Grange, KY 40031).
Memorial donations can be made in Jay's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or your local Humane Society.
