She is survived by: her husband John Taylor Shepherd; her stepchildren, Shari Shepherd Jones (Mark) and Stephen Shepherd; her siblings, Rance Thompson (Judy), Sarah Rittenberry, Kevin Thompson (Janet), Evelyn Morgan and Roger Thompson (Marlene); and her siblings-in-law, Margo Thompson and Lanny Kohnhorst. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
