She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thompson and Nina Thompson (Cooke); and her siblings, John Thompson and Dinah Kohnhorst. She is survived by: her husband John Taylor Shepherd; her stepchildren, Shari Shepherd Jones (Mark) and Stephen Shepherd; her siblings, Rance Thompson (Judy), Sarah Rittenberry, Kevin Thompson (Janet), Evelyn Morgan and Roger Thompson (Marlene); and her siblings-in-law, Margo Thompson and Lanny Kohnhorst. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home (706 W Jefferson St, La Grange, KY 40031). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
