She was predeceased by : her parents, Mildred McCabe and Oliver Hand. She is survived by : her husband Avital Schurr; her children, Bryan O'Bannon, Shawn O'Bannon, Brett R. O'Bannon, Barak Schurr, Hila Schurr and Ori Schurr; and her grandchildren, Mahala King O'Bannon, Rowan Rudolph O'Bannon, Max Schurr and Bailey Schurr.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Kennel Club in Maureen's memory.
