He was predeceased by: his wife Jessie Pauline Bell; his parents, Cecil Bell and Edith Bell; and his brothers, LeRoy Bell, Lawrence Bell and Pete Bell.

He is survived by: his children, Bryan Bell, Darren Jones (Lewis) of Robert and Kelly Bowlin (Jim). He is also survived by many grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.
