He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Thomas Mason Sr. and Ruby Laws Mason; his children, Edward Scott Mason and Tricia Charlene Mason; and his sister Robbi Elizabeth Ludwig.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Bowen Mason; his son Roger Mason; his grandchildren, Connor Mason (Lauren Seirs), Tyler Mason and Ruby Mason; his sister Kathleen Hartsell (Ervin) of Midland; and his nephew Mason Lane Hartsell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home (706 W Jefferson St, La Grange, KY 40031). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be directed to the University of Wyoming Foundation for the benefit of the University of Wyoming Athletics program in Roy's memory.
