She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Merritt and Lena Merritt; and her siblings, George Merritt, Sherma Dunn, Jo Anne Blanton and Wileen Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Theresa "Peach" Buechel (John); her siblings, Dayton Merritt, Judith Merritt, Nancy Merritt, Doris Moore and Janet Williams (Charles); and her sister-in-law Mary Jo Merritt.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dobbling Funeral Home (106 S Ft Thomas Ave, Fort Thomas, KY 41075). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Southgate VFW (6 Electric Ave, Southgate, KY 41071).
Memorials are suggested to the Buddy Larosa Center for Youth. 400 Maple Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45216. (located inside the former Elmwood Place Elementary School).
