She was predeceased by: her husband Jackie Thompson; her parents, Garland Murphy and Clara Maybelle Merrick Murphy; and her siblings, Mozelle Isbell, Jimmy, Carl and Edd Murphy.
She is survived by: her son Jason Thompson (Kristina) of Princeton, Kentucky; her brother Buddy Murphy (Shirley) of Sylvester, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Lacy Thompson and Jaxton Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan's Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Princeton, KY 42445). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
