With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Chadwell of Lancaster, Kentucky, who passed away on March 14, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Chadwell; her daughter Teresa Carol Whicker; and her siblings, Lester, George, Howard Sowder, Josephine Gaffney and Clara Sowder.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Lynn Chadwell (Vanessa) of Waco and Rita Gale Caldwell of Elizabethtown, Indiana; her grandchildren, Amanda Denson, Amber England and Tony Robertson; her great grandchildren, Ariel Rooks, Marcus England, Zach Smiely, Macy Smiely and Zoie Robertson; and her brother David Sowder (Donna) of Paint Lick. She is also survived by 4 great-great grandchildren.
