She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Young and Martha Morris Young; her husband Jack Meeks; and her siblings, William B. Young, Bonnie Vaugh and Edna Meeks.

She is survived by : her sons, Roger Meeks (Kathy) of Richmond and Ernie Meeks (Donna Faye) of Lancaster; and her grandchildren, Thomas Meeks (Shauna), Tina Marie Middleton and Hannah Hounshell (James). She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
