She was predeceased by: her parents, Lace Hicks and Otha Martin Hicks; her son Cecil Dexter Blanton; her siblings, Sherrill Rodney Hicks and Francene Crum; and her stepmother Ola Hicks.
She is survived by: her husband Clifford D. Blanton; her son Millard Douglas Blanton (Carolyn) of Bevinsville, KY; her sisters, Charlene Dingus (Michael) of Orange Park, FL, Stephanie Walton (Danny) of Virginia Beach, VA and Beverly Newsome (Steve) of Martin, KY; her grandchildren, Stephen Douglas Blanton (Heather), Felicia Nicole Miller (Joshua) and Richard Duruttya (Charity); her great grandchildren, Juliette, Kashden, Alexander and Kruze Cecil; and her daughter-in-law Zandra Lynn Blanton.
