Marilyn Scheffler Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Marilyn Scheffler of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Marilyn, born on June 28, 1956, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ephriam Hearn and Mary Virginia Warren Hearn; and her brother Clinton Hearn (Aileen). She is survived by: her son Steve Scheffler of Lawrenceburg, KY; her siblings, Bill Hearn of Sparta, KY, Ricky Hearn (Melba) of Worthville, KY, Steve Hearn (Tammy) of Ghent, KY and Aggie Nicholas (Jeff) of Milford, OH; and the father of her child Charles Scheffler of Frankfort, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home (701 N Main St, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Ghent Masonic Cemetery (407 Main Cross St, Ghent, KY 41045).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donation be made to Meals on Wheels c/o Anderson County Senior Center, 160 Township Sq., Lawrenceburg, KY 40342 Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, KY.
