She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Shely and Gippie Shouse Shely; her husband Gene Welsh; and her siblings, Nannie, Bonnie, William, Raymond, Thelma and Harry.
She is survived by: her sons, David Welsh (Kim) of Lexington, KY and John Welsh (Sue) of Lawrenceburg, KY; her brother Don Shely of Glensboro, KY; her grandchildren, Drew Welsh, Hunter Welsh, Sutton Hughes, Courtney Welsh, Lauren Koeller and Eric Welsh; and her great grandchildren, Jude Koeller, Katherine Koeller, River Welsh and Frances Welsh.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home (701 N Main St, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
