He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Keith Franklin and Flora Downey Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Jo Shartzer Franklin; his children, Ashley Brown-Franklin (Buddy), Christopher L. Cox and Krista N. Shartzer (Christopher Taylor); his grandchildren, James, Amelia, Blakely, Alaina, Silas and Emylou; and his siblings, Sheila Clark, Johnny Franklin, Angie Kendall and Shannon Goodin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home (701 N Main St, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
