He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Adolph Darnell and Zula "Judy" Belle Hawkins Darnell; his son Matthew Clinton Darnell; his mother-in-law Gladys Barnes; his sister-in-law Brenda Barnes Pittman; and his nephews, Ethan Drury and Jason Weber.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Barnes Darnell; his son Joseph William Darnell (Tracy); his grandchildren, Zackory Shepard, Lexi Darnell and Kayden Darnell; and his sister Marilyn Mae Darnell Proctor (Bobby).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Christian Church (1122 Willisburg Rd, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
