He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Fried; his parents, Kenneth Fried and Virginia "Smith" Fried; his sisters, Myrna Hagan and Gloria Dixon; and his pet Prince.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Jackson (Steve); his granddaughters, Rebecca Gerard (Trevor) and Sarah Jackson (Jessie); his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Bryson, Quinn and Piper; and his brothers, Mike Fried and Dennis Fried. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
