He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Luckett Sandusky of Lebanon; his children, Earl Sandusky (Nina) of Lebanon, Robert Sandusky (Jami) of Lebanon, David Sandusky (Rhonda) of Lebanon, Anita Brubeck of Lexington, Mary Jane Tungate (Jody) of Bradfordsville, Cindy Clark (Mitchell) of Alvaton, Theresa Binkley (Pete) of Lebanon and Sharon Thomas (Jim Thomas); his brothers, Glen Sandusky (Martha) of Lebanon and Boyd Sandusky (Donna) of Lebanon; and his grandchildren, Izzy Brubeck, Chas Brubeck, Laura Mattingly (Aaron), Jennifer Phillips (Craig), Jodi Michelle Tungate, Andrew Tungate (Brianna), Jessica Mayes (Aaron), Joey Sandusky (Bethanie), Samantha Simendinger (Tommy), Anne Taylor Sandusky, Justin Clark (Brittney), Brandon Clark (Cassie), Kaitlyn Brown (David), Michael Sandusky (Nikki), Nicholas Sandusky, Colleen Rakes, Landon Rakes, Kaleigh Binkley, Ella Thomas, Addison Thomas and Trey Thomas. He is also survived by thirty great-grandchildren.
