It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Porter of Lebanon, Kentucky, who passed away on April 4, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Spalding Porter and Sarah Louise Porter; his stepmother Fannie Moffett Porter; his brothers, Martin Porter, Jr., Terry "Big Joe" Porter, John Kenneth Porter, Larry Joseph Porter and Tyrone Steven Porter; and his stepsister Mary Moffett.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Cocanougher Porter; his children, Derrick (Twyla) of Washington and Ashley Clayton; his grandchildren, Shanda of Washington, Isiah Clayton and Alex Clayton; his stepgrandson Chandron Railey; his brother William Daryl Porter (Johnetta); his stepbrothers, Michael Moffett and Richard Moffett; his sisters, Vivian Porter, Mary Joyce Porter and Sheila Gunn (Jingle); and his stepsisters, Diane Wray and Jackie Moffett. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
