It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Browning of Lebanon, Kentucky, born in Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William and Addie Florence Abell Browning; and his sister Carolyn Irene Browning. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lee "Peggy" Hayden Browning; his children, Fran Fields (Rick) of Springfield, Amy Browning of Lebanon, Lori Caldwell (Greg) of Lebanon and Jamie Browning of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Adam Fields, Amber Spaulding, Tiffany Brockman, Alexis Browning, Gabrielle Browning, Cameron Cubert and Kylie Browning; and his siblings, Fred Browning, John Browning (Mary Ann), Kenny Browning (Jeannie), Susan Skees, Sr. (Frances Browning), Barbara Oesterritter (Bo) and Mary Lou Mattingly. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
