Kathryn Hagan Evans Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathryn Hagan Evans of Lebanon, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hagan Dye and Louise Abell Dye; her husband George William Evans; her son William Hagan "Bill" Evans; and her siblings, Colleen Whitlock, James A. Dye and Robert L. "Bobby" Dye.
She is survived by: her children, Burma Medley (late Jimmy), Georgeann Burton (Earl) and James Glenn Evans; her daughter-in-law Cindy Evans; and her grandchildren, Kathy Braden (Artie), Carrie Barber Jewkes, Houston Barber (Darra), Joshua Evans (Haley) and Rebecca Evans Veech (Colby). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bosley Funeral Home (246 S Proctor Knott Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (235 S Spalding Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the St. Augustine Church Cemetery (235 S Spalding Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033).
