With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucy Martina Evans of Lebanon, Kentucky, born in New Albany, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2026 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Porter and Stella Porter; her husband Jeroyd Frank "Jerry" Evans; and her siblings, John H. Porter, Leo C. Porter, Betty Claire Porter, Mary Louise Porter, Mary Elizabeth Porter McDonald, Charles Porter, Mary Angela Porter Simpson, Willie Mae Porter Mattingly and Alice Dorothy Porter Bell.
She is survived by: her son Timothy Frank Evans; her daughter-in-law Janet Miller Evans of Danville, California; and her granddaughters, Elizabeth Martina Evans of New York and Erin Belita Evans of Brooklyn. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews.
