She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Frances and Charles Shepherd; and her son Byron S. Myers. She is survived by: her husband Steven E. Mattingly; her daughter Stephanie Smith (Jason) of Campbellsville; her stepchildren, Kelly Mattingly of Loretto, Destiny Mattingly of Loretto and Michael Mattingly (Jessica) of Lebanon; her brother James Shepherd (Leigh) of Murfreesboro, TN; her grandchildren, Chase Craig of Campbellsville and Jenna Smith of Richmond; her stepgranddaughter Lilah Grider; her siblings-in-law, Bernard, George, Donald, Leonard, Wayne Mattingly, Fay Beach Whitfill, Kay DeMurray and Anita Smith; and also, Lena Lootens of Erlanger and Geraldine Miles of Honea Path, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bosley Funeral Home (246 S Proctor Knott Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
