It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Smothers of Lebanon, Kentucky, born in Gravel Switch, Kentucky, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Mose Smothers; and his siblings, Robert Smothers, Albert Smothers, Zelma Reynolds, Kathleen Bennett and Lena Milburn.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Smothers of Lebanon; his children, Ronald Smothers (Debbie) of Nicholasville, Donald Smothers (Nancilyn) of Nicholasville and Linda Price (Gary) of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Anna Dressman (David), Allison Sobolewski (Sean) and Jill Smothers; and his great grandchildren, Asher Dressman, Auden Dressman, Eleanor Sobolewski and Finn Sobolewski.
