He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Gordon, Jr. and Margaret Lawson Gordon. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Cecil (Todd) of Lebanon and Leslie Sauter (Josh) of Bloomfield; his grandchildren, Luke Sauter and Ally Cecil; and his siblings, Darlene Luckett of Louisville, E. C. Gordon (Carol) of Raywick, Betty Sullivan (Randy) of Campbellsville, Ronnie Gordon (Janice) of Lebanon and Jimmy Gordon (Donna) of Raywick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
